This is the most stunning rare Sandinavian / European hand carved, handmade flour ark, a gorgeous rustic, carved, wooden chest. These were typically made of oak or beech, this one is a gorgeous bleached beech and designed for storing flour in the home. They were found in Scandinavian and European households, dating back to the 16th century. A truely unique piece.
In good solid condition, it has been treated for historic woodworm, please ask for more photos if necessary.
