The most amazing antique French bee skep, in wonderful condition, traditionally made from coiled rye straw and bound with strip willow. The Bee Skep is lovely decorative feature for inside or out. It’s so wondrously rustic weathered and worn with the most amazing patina.. hand built and made to last . I just love it! And as for the colour!! 43cm high by 47cm. I adore the little holes which the bees used to go in and out of. It has been treated for historic woodworm. We actually bought this from the elderly gentleman who has used it all his life but sadly had to give up because of his age.
