This is a true beauty, purchased in Amiens in the spring, a truly amazing French oil on canvas, depicting all the things you'd love a canvas to have. This has the most gorgeous depth of colour. The greens of the trees, are slightly more darker than the photos shown, it was tricky to get the light right to photograph. A lady stood outside of the mill with a pop of reddy orange to her jacket adds you can just make out her little hat. The sky is just so beautiful, you could almost step inside this painting. A well executed accomplished painting.
